Dr Theodor Stroha, Senior & Resident Partner (UAE), International Legal Consultants
Dr Theodor Strohal is the Founder of the present chamber " Stohal Kretschmer Rebasso" in Vienna 1979. He was admitted as foreign lawyer in Singapore in 1994 & admitted as the legal consultant in the United Arab Emirates 2005. He is a resident in the UAE and Singapore.
Main Focus: Real Estate, Business Law, Joint Ventures and International Taxation. Is a frequet speaker in seminar on Austain and INdonesian property law;working experience in Austria, Indonesia, Singapore, South Afica and the UAE.
Ms Emily Foo, Managing Director, Lloyd Morgan Singapore Pte Ltd
Ms Emily Foo has some 15 years of exposure in the banking, finance and investment industry in Hong Kong and Singapore. She earned her B.A. in Economics at Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. Emily joined the company in January 2000. She set up the Singapore office in July 2000 and the Malaysia office in April 2006.
Prior to joining the company, Emily was heading the ASEAN equity institutional sales desk at BNP Peregrine Ltd, Hong Kong. Before that, she marketed equity research products to institutional clients and private banking clients of the HSBC Investment Bank. Her scope of exposure in the investment banking arena include stock analysis, research product development, corporate finance, fixed income and equity institutional sales. Emily brings to the company her broad knowledge of the Investment and Banking industry and her wide network of clients and business associates which include Commercial and Investment Bankers, Fund Managers, Research Heads and Analysts.
At Lloyd Morgan, Emily will direct the Group's growth in the South East and South Asian region as well as the Middle East as the leading Human Capital management and consulting company, offering a highly rigorous, externally assessed quality search methodology that is at the forefront of industry standards.
Dr Ameen Talib, Principle Consultant, Ameen Talib & Associates
Dr Ameen Talib is a third generation Arab Singaporean, born in Yemen. He grew up between Aden (Yemen), Singapore and Cairo (Egypt). and is a bi-lingual native speaking Arab. He obtained his degree in B. Com (Accounting) from Ain Shams University, Cairo (where the medium of instruction was in Arabic) in 1983. He further obtained his MSc (Accounting and Finance) from London School Economics, England in 1985 and his Doctorate from Warwick Business School, Warwick University, in 2003. Ameen thesis was on Performance Measures and resource allocation. Ameen Is the Principal Consultant of 'Ameen Talib & Associates'
Dr Ameen is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) having practiced in UK and Singapore with KPMG Peat Marwick and Ernst & Young. He was an Assistant Professor with NUS Business School, National University of Singapore (NUS) from 1991 to July 2003. He left NUS to focus on his consulting business. Dr Ameen has worked in the United Kingdom, Dubai and Singapore. His vast travels gave him tremendous international exposure and especially a vast knowledge of Middle East and Middle Eastern culture. He maintains close links with the Middle East and frequently travels there.
Mr Othman Aljeda, CEO Asia, Aramex Asia Pacific
Othman is responsible for ARAMEX's operations in Asia. With a vision to spread ARAMEX's operations across Asia, having established offices in China, Honk Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Before the move to Singapore, Othman has been an active leader in ARAMEX for the past 15 years, occupying key positions in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Countries.
Mr Zainal Abidin AHMAD, Vice President – International Business, PSB Academy
Mr Zainal Abidin Ahmad is currently a Vice President, International Business with PSB Academy. His responsibility includes developing the ASEAN and Middle East markets for PSB Academy's corporate learning and consulting services, as well as leading and managing major projects in these territories, especially where these involve key national and government-related projects.
